Preventing Spread

See sub pages

Prevent transmission of the virus to your body entry points – the eyes, nose and mouth.

Prevent the likelihood of transmission of the virus to these points by using hand gel or washing hands.

Consider this on entering your home or business to prevent contamination of your home.

Protect yourself and others by keeping a distance especially from people at high or severe risk but also others.

This is to prevent transmission which includes by droplet infection.

The filtration of masks is not sufficient to filter out viruses by themselves but as the virus may be associated

with other things including  droplets these may be filtered out.

Ordinary masks may reduce the distance that a person coughs out the virus.

Non respirator masks allow air to enter preferentially from the ides of the mask area.

Respirators are sealed to the face to ensure air breathed in goes through the filter.

See sub page for usage.
