Preventing DVTs on Flights
For most people reducing the risk of deep vein thrombosis on long journeys can be avoided by not becoming dehydrated (and drinking water regularly), not drinking much alcohol and moving ones legs regularly or walking. Support stockings may also reduce the risk.
